Life is far too short for half-hearted celebrations.

We’re for the parties where good taste gets a little carried away.

About Somerset

We started Somerset because we love bringing people together—and because we believe the best events aren’t the ones where everything feels pristine and perfectly orchestrated. They’re the ones with warmth, personality and a little bit of mischief.

Our job is to think about all the things you shouldn’t have to. We’ll obsess over the run sheet, chase the suppliers and notice that one chair is in the wrong place, so you can be somewhere else entirely, champagne in hand.

Less perfect, More memorable.

The Somerset Team

Your Party People

Steph Nguyen

Steph is the creative mind behind Somerset Social, dreaming up the mood, finding the thread that ties everything together and turning a collection of ideas into something that feels entirely its own.

With a background in events, styling and hospitality, she has a particular fondness for celebrations that feel generous, layered and a little unexpected. Her approach is equal parts creative instinct and meticulous planning—because getting carried away with the good stuff is much easier when someone else has already made the spreadsheet.

Back

Naomi Brooks

Naomi is the logistical brain of the team, working across suppliers, timelines and production to make sure every moving part ends up exactly where it needs to be.

She loves a complicated brief, an oddly specific request and the challenge of figuring out how to make an ambitious idea actually happen. On event days, she’s the reassuring presence behind the scenes—solving problems before they become problems, keeping everything moving and making sure nobody hosting the party needs to know just how much is going on in the background.

Back

Kate Sullivan

Kate works across the hundreds of little details that take an event from carefully planned to actually happening—from coordinating suppliers and setting up spaces to keeping an eye on what (and who) needs to be where next.

She has a knack for noticing what needs doing before anyone has to ask, whether that’s finding the missing place card, fixing a hem five minutes before the ceremony or making sure the champagne is exactly where it ought to be. When everyone else is busy having a very good time, Mila is usually somewhere nearby making sure they can.

Back

Your guests shouldn’t just walk into something beautiful. They should feel welcomed, well fed, looked after and very reluctant to leave.

Hospitality is everything

Not everything needs to match, but the right little details are often what make an event feel completely unique and truly memorable.

Details matter

We’re not interested in giving you somebody else’s wedding with different flowers. Your event should have its own point of view.

Personality over Convention

We care about how a celebration feels more than whether every napkin remains at precisely 45 degrees.

People before perfection

Our kind of vibe.

A few things we believe.

Whether you know exactly what you want or you’re starting with little more than a date and a feeling, that’s plenty for us to work with.
